At the EM-Power show (15 May, 2019 to 17 May, 2019) in Munich, the solar architecture sector is presenting itself as self-confident and buoyant. Various suppliers will be showcasing their new products for solar facades, roof-integrated solar generators and solar roof tiles or shingles under the heading of "building-integrated photovoltaics".
Joint stand in Hall C4
For the first time this year, the BIPV Alliance, the industry association for building-integrated photovoltaics, will be represented with its own stand. In hall C4 at booth C4.171/C4.173 members of the association will explain their products and services. The touring exhibition of the Solar Energy Promotion Association Bavaria, the products of the companies NICE Solar Energy and Opvius, research of the Centre for Hydrogen and Solar Energy Research (ZSW), the company WALTER Konzept, the architecture portal Solar Age and the Potsdam-based Projektkanzlei, a law firm that specialises in renewable energies, will all be there. The BIPV Alliance information stand will also feature the new advisory centre for building-integrated photovoltaics of the Helmholtz Centre in Berlin.
Lectures and tours on solar architecture
In addition, the BIPV Alliance is organising a lecture series on building-integrated photovoltaics. The presentations will take place on 15 May, 2019 between 2.30 p.m. and 4.30 p.m. at the EM Power Forum, Stand C4.550.
In order to present the many new products and innovations, the specialist media photovoltaik and pv Europe of Gentner Verlag are organising guided tours of solar architecture/BIPV for the first time this year. These tours are held in German or English and take around two hours. (HS/mfo)
