The Vertex series of modules, with an efficiency of up to 21 per cent, achieve an output of over 500 watts. Trina had announced the start of production for the first line of mass-produced Vertex Series modules for mid-March 2020.
The Vertex Series modules feature 210-millimetre cells, which are divided into three using a novel process that eliminates electrical effects at the cut edge. Minimising the cell spacing maximises the active area and increases module efficiency. Trina Solar's new Vertex series includes bifacial double glass modules and glass-foil modules that offer high output, reliability, high efficiency and high energy yields. (mfo)
