Microinverters are much more popular in the non-German-speaking countries of Europe.

The new webinar series from Enphase Energy starts now. Until the end of June, installers, planners and technical sales staff can find out about the microinverters and the home energy solution.

Grid-connected photovoltaic systems with micro-inverters are still a novelty in Germany and Austria. It is different with the European neighbours, where they are very popular with installers. Because they are characterised by simple planning, quick installation and time-efficient monitoring.

Enphase's core product is the IQ7 series microinverters. Since each module gets its own micro inverter, the classic planning of the DC strings is no longer necessary. A simple solution with pre-assembled cables and a patented plug-in system enables quick installation on the roof. That saves time and money.

25-year warranty

According to the manufacturer, the IQ7 series has a low failure rate of 0.07 per cent. Each device is tested for over a million hours of operation. That is why Enphase offers a 25-year warranty.

AC storage solution

Enphase also offers its customers a complete home energy solution with AC storage. The enlargement of the module field through the use of micro-inverters and the modular structure of the storage system enable the system owner to easily expand with increasing energy requirements, for example when buying an electric vehicle.

Monitoring at module level

Enlighten, the cloud-based energy management system, monitors electricity generation and consumption. The plant owner can call up the production and consumption data in a graphically prepared form. Monitoring takes place at the level of the individual solar modules. All performance data of the individual module are available at all times. There is a professional version for the installer: the Enlighten Manager. It enables a more detailed analysis of the system data and early error detection.
