The Centre for Solar Energy and Hydrogen Research (ZSW) in Stuttgart in Baden Wurttemberg has been awarded for its new building. The State Ministry for the Environment, Climate and Energy in Stuttgart has rewarded the ZSW for the development of climate-friendly technologies as well as the implementation of same in their own building.
Large parts of the outer shell of the research and office building are covered in solar panels. The ZSW was solely responsible for designing this solar façade. This involved solar panels of varying sizes. Solar Age Club Members can download a dossier that includes a detailed description of this solar installation. Also, this project will be presented at this year’s BIPV Forum in Bad Staffelstein on 18 and 19 March, 2019. Solar Age Club Members are eligible for a discount on the admission fee. (su/mfo)
