With the help of the optional grid switch, the system also replaces the emergency power generator in the event of an unstable power supply from the public grid. BMZ’s Power4home has been developed for indoor and outdoor use. Thanks to passive cooling, the storage unit is virtually silent. Customers can connect up to four units in parallel and thus store between 6.7 and 106.8 kilowatt hours of electricity.

Both wall and floor mounting is possible, either above or next to each other. The storage unit weighs just 30 kilograms in total. According to the manufacturer, installation can be completed by one fitter in 15 minutes. The lithium iron phosphate system includes protection against overcurrent, undervoltage, overvoltage, short circuits and polarity reversal.
