The Eaton battery storage system X-Storage Home for households consists of a hybrid inverter and lithium-ion batteries. It combines Eaton's inverter technology with lithium-ion batteries from the Leaf electric vehicles from Nissan. Eaton uses both new batteries and so-called second-life batteries. The system is integrated into the house installation, solar systems are connected directly. The supply of backup loads and the charging of electric vehicles - for example, overnight - is easily possible.
