Ecocoach combines an open-technology smart home solution with active energy management, placing particular emphasis on the integration of renewable energies and e-mobility. At the heart of the solution lies a lithium-ion storage system, which optimizes the energy flow in buildings. Industry-standard hardware throughout ensures data security and long-term availability of spare parts.
With capacities of 13 to 65 kilowatt-hours, the ecoBatterySystem functions as the building’s energy control center, combining energy management and smart home functions. The 13 to 26 kilowatt-hours version of the energy control center includes an integrated three-phase inverter with 25 kilowatt power. The pre-integrated components make it quick to install, and the system is compatible with all types of power generators and consumers. The ecoBatterySystem also has a mains disconnector and is able to form a stand-alone network in the event of a power failure.
The storage cabinet also houses sensors for measuring the energy flows in the building, which monitor the yield of the photovoltaic system and the major household consumers such as a boiler and a charging station for electric vehicles. All system components can thus be interlinked. Ecocoach will showcase its system at the Intersolar Europe exhibition in Munich from 20 to 22 June 2018: Booth 610 in Hall C2. (nhp)
