In the first ten months of 2021, sales already rose to 205 million euros and are expected to be around 250 million euros for the year as a whole. In the previous year, it was 133.2 million euros from the beginning of January to the beginning of December.

In the same period, the number of Senec home storage units sold almost doubled, so that by the end of the year more than 40,000 new models will be in use. Measured by the number of installed systems in Germany, Senec is one of the fastest-growing suppliers in the industry.
Growth of private systems
The growth was mainly driven by private customers. Systems between ten and 15 kilowatts increased by 684 per cent in the first nine months of 2021, i.e. almost sevenfold.
This is why the EnBW subsidiary Senec is expanding its workforce, which now numbers more than 450. Further strong growth is expected in 2022. Senec relies on more than 1,000 specialist partners from the installing trade throughout Germany. (HS/mfo)
