The hybrid inverter is characterised by high performance and fast-charging capability of the battery. The battery allows homeowners to connect up to four batteries. The expandable capacity of up to 16.2 kilowatt hours can be mounted on the wall or back-to-back. Thanks to the IP65 protection class, outdoor installation is also possible.

The manufacturer promises a battery life of 8,000 cycles and provides a ten-year warranty. The battery is compatible with the new Sunny Boy Smart Energy and the three-phase hybrid inverter Sunny Tripower Smart Energy. The Sunny Boy Smart Energy will be available in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, among other countries, from the 4th quarter of 2023, depending on country-specific certification. (mfo)
