Ten percent more exhibitors and visitors, an additional exhibition hall and a record growth for the PV market. Intersolar and ees Europe 2017 started with great mood this morning.

Crowds of visitors gathered the booths already in the earlier morning. More than 1,100 exhibitors from 52 countries present their innovations and products until Friday afternoon and more than 40,000 visitors from more than 160 countries are expected.

8 GW new PV installations in Europe in 2017

With expected new 80 GW installations in 2017 the global PV market is setting new record growth marks. For Europa 8 GW new installations are expected, for Germany 2 GW. Driving force are declining cost and prices, in Germany around 6-7 Eurocents/kWh. Self-consumption and energy storage is getting more and more attractive. Energy storage systems prices went down 50 percent the last for years. 436 exhibitors present their energy storage systems at Intersolar and ees Europe 2017.

Great interest for pv Guided Tours
