Longi's rear contact module delivers 670 watts

The new second-generation back-contact module is based on Longi's HPBC 2.0 technology. It is equipped with N-type wafers and bipolar hybrid passivation technology. With the new technologies, the Hi-Mo X10 offers improvements in efficiency, mechanical properties and reliability, according to the manufacturer. Thanks to the low linear degradation of 0.35 per cent, the module is also particularly durable. The manufacturing process for rear contact modules has been improved thanks to the zero busbar structure. Longi uses an intelligent soldering process to make the connections more stable than with conventional soldering.

In the DACH region, the module will be available as a double glass and glass-foil version in the sizes 54 cells with 490 watts and 72 cells with 670 watts and can be ordered immediately. All modules come with a 30-year performance guarantee. (nhp)
