Customers from MeteoViva are asking ever more frequently whether it is possible to also predict the future energy demands with the optimization model of MeteoViva, and with that to better manage energy purchase and their own energy generation. The consumption and load forecast by MeteoViva Climate offer a planning security for the provision of the required energy.
While it matters most in the USA to avoid significantly higher purchase prices during power shortages, the increasing share of weather-dependent green electricity sources in Germany provides for fluctuations in the electricity price.
According to MeteoViva it already delivers its customers today a prediction on performance and consumption of their HVAC systems for the next two to three days with the help of MeteoViva Climate. This demand forecast offers significant added value mainly to companies and institutions with connected building complexes, such as universities or airports. (nhp)
