BYD, the major supplier of rechargeable lithium batteries, will introduce new solutions, expanding the successful Battery-Box series of energy storage systems, at the leading European trade fair EES and Intersolar Europe 2019. Highlights of this year’s exhibition presentation at booth 420 in hall B1 include the introduction of the new European partner programme. In addition, BYD will officially launch the first plug-and-play commercial energy storage system, the latest addition of the Battery-Box line, on 15 May at 11am at the booth.
There is a growing demand for Commercial and Industrial (C&I) energy storage systems. BYD has seen this and will launch the new system Battery-Box Commercial specifically aimed at commercial and industrial applications at the EES. The compact lithium iron phosphate-based system will be available in three versions: 57Kwh, 154kwh and 233kwh, operating at approx. 770 V. All versions are are CE, IEC62619 certified and include a REFUhybrid 88K inverter as well as an EMS supporting advanced functions.
Widely applicable
In addition to a very competitive pricing, the system is the first plug-and-play ready commercial solution with pre-installed components – making the on-site installation quick, easy and trouble free for all installation partners and end customers. The wide range of application options, including peak-shaving, self-consumption, energy backup, intelligent EV-charging and frequency regulation, help to decrease the amortisation time to a minimum.

New European Installer Loyalty Programme
BYD attributes a large part of its success in Europe to both fruitful the cooperation with and the high degree of commitment from their partners. As the partner network has evolved significantly over the past two years, BYD is launching an official Installer Loyalty Programme at the EES to further support installers by providing training, certifications, dedicated service as well as marketing support, along with other incentives.
