The energy density of batteries will not be exhausted for a long time. Ease of installation and digital integration are also important trends. At EES Europe, new suppliers with single-phase or three-phase systems will also be appearing this year. The first wave of consolidation has passed through the industry, and many suppliers have demonstrated that they have what it takes. Their innovative strength is paying off.
At the EES Europe storage trade fair, they are presenting numerous innovations, improving and extending the functionality of systems, increasing performance and energy density in order to further reduce costs. In addition to Germany, new markets are developing in Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Benelux and Scandinavia.
The main focus of the pv Guided Tours on home storage will be on the technical innovations and new systems with which installers can meet the high standards of their customers. More and more people are associating photovoltaics with the desire to be independent of the grid.
Electric mobility is also becoming an important market driver for home storage systems. High electrical power for charging EVs is becoming just as important as high storage capacity in order to optimise the self-consumption of solar power in the building.
Our tour guide is Herbert Grab of Digit Media from Pliezhausen/Germany.

Each of the tours has a specific topic and the number of participants is limited. Participation is free of charge. The tours will be offered in German on all three days of the trade fair (15-17 May 2019) and in English on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
The groups will be led by an expert editor. Product managers, engineers and sales experts will be on hand at the stands of the cooperating companies to present the innovations and answer the participants' questions. Each tour lasts about two hours and will start at the photovoltaik und pv Europe stand in Hall B1, Stand 209/309.
Participation is subject to prior registration. Registration includes free access to the four trade fairs that make up The smarter E Europe. Headsets are available for the guided tours. (HS/mfo)
