The Qinous ESS Q-Compact delivers high power of up to 200 kilowatts and large capacities of up to 335 kilowatt-hours on a footprint between 3.0 and 4.5 square meters in a single housing. The outdoor cabinet is made of a vandalism proof double wall aluminium structure and state-of-the-art thermal insulation material to withstand even harsh climate conditions.
The interior is separated into two sections. One section is completely airtight, preventing deterioration effects from dust, salt mist, insects or humidity. The other compartment houses the heat exchanger, the AC system and the transformer.
The battery systemconsists of multiple battery trays, each containing lithium-ion cells. The trays are combined in racks and include the Battery Management System (BMS) and switchgear.
