In combination with the sonnenProtect 8000 emergency power solution, the sonnenBatterie 10 performance provides a three-phase power supply even during longer power outages. In what is called AC island mode, a separate power grid can be set up in a matter of seconds. As a result, the photovoltaic system can continue to generate clean energy even during a power failure, thus ensuring a reliable supply of electricity to the household and the sonnenBatterie.
The sonnenBatterie 10 performance can be combined with PV inverters from the common manufacturers, provided that they match its power range. During development, sonnen has worked together with leading inverter manufacturers such as SolarEdge, Fronius and Kostal.

The sonnenBatterie 10 performance can reliably supply the household with 8 kilowatts on all three phases and is also three-phase capable when in emergency power mode. Generally speaking, this can cover the entire household connection. With a capacity of up to 55 kilowatt hours, it is also suitable for use in agriculture or commercial applications. Especially for industrial applications, the new sonnenBatterie 10 performance can be cascaded up to nine times. This means that up to 72 kilowatts and 495 kilowatt hours are possible in a cascade. The strong performance also allows large consumers such as electric vehicles or heat pumps to be integrated even better into the household energy system.
We currently have no information as to when the sonnenBatterie 10 performance will be available in markets beyond the German-speaking countries. However, we will let you know as soon as we do, so watch this space. (mfo)
