All in one handy box. In contrast to most other battery systems in the market the sonnenBatterie components are build into a single casing and attuned to each other.
The sonnenBatterie from Sonnen isn‘t limited to storing energy generated by a PV system. A microcogeneration plant generates energy and heat. Just connect it to the sonnenBatterie to store its energy when the sun isn‘t shining. A system can be combined with wind generators, heat pumps and fuel cells.
Since every household has its own energy requirements the sonnenBatterie is a multi-stage storage system that can be adapted to most energy needs. With storage sizes ranging from 4 to 16 kilowatt-hours the sonnenBatterie will power a detached house, a multi-family house or an apartment block. The capacity of the sonnenBatterie can be expanded in blocks of two kilowatt-hours. The company is using a lithium-iron-phosphate battery technology. (nhp)
