Q-Cells' home storage is a modular system. The integrated management tool Q-Home gives homeowners and small businesses better control over their energy consumption. The Q-Home and the HYB-G2 storage system include a hybrid inverter embedded in a control platform of the energy manager. This new system has a starting size of four kilowatt hours and can be progressively extended up to 20 kilowatt hours.

By including a hybrid inverter in the system, the battery can be quickly and efficiently adapted to the customer's needs. The system is installed using a plug-and-play function. The unit incorporates Samsung SDI's lithium-ion battery cells and Hansol Technics' single-phase inverter. Q-Cells gives ten years warranty on the system and product. (mfo)
