Solitek, a solar module manufacturer based in Vilnius, has been providing not only financial aid but also solar modules to Ukraine since the first days of the war. With the recent targeted destruction of Ukraine's energy infrastructure, the country's electricity supply has become a critical issue. In war zones, the provision of electricity is even more important.
Aware of the current situation and following a request from the people of Ukraine, SoliTek is sending its modules for humanitarian purposes and the solar modules it produces are being used to build mobile power generation stations. Such stations are used in Ukraine by soldiers to charge reconnaissance drones and by medics in mobile medical stations. These stations are easy to transport, small and compact. The demand for these systems is very high. They have the advantage that they do not emit any noise and do not require fuel as a consumable.
Functional off-grid PV solution
In March this year, mobile power generation stations were developed using SoliTek modules and BIPA solutions, and are also used by Ukrainian soldiers at their posts. The Ukrainians, together with the coordinator of the project, the Lithuanian charity "Jonaviečiai padeda", then set out to multiply this highly functional off-grid solution by creating mobile, portable power generation stations.

Packed with solar modules and other necessary ancillary equipment in portable suitcases the size of a synthesizer case, these mobile solar power stations are now spreading across war zones and reaching the most remote locations.
Look for further partners
Both the Foundation and SoliTek have received a lot of feedback from Ukrainian soldiers about the benefits of the solar systems. Due to the high demand for these systems, the Foundation is organizing part of the assembly work in Ivano Frankivsk, Ukraine. Recognizing the importance of on-site and timely loading of reconnaissance drones, as well as the importance of providing power to medics to save lives, SoliTek continues to supply solar modules for the production of these stations.

Unfortunately, the solar module cannot generate its own solar energy, so it is essential to find sponsors for the idea and to contribute batteries, inverters, voltage converters and other necessary components.
