With an LCOS (levelized cost of storage) of around ten cent per kilowatt-hour, the VoltStorage Smart is according to the company currently one of the most cost-efficient storage solutions for private households on the European market. In technological terms, the Munich companyꞌs photovoltaic storage system offers an alternative to traditional lithium-ion-based storage systems.
With storage capacity of 6.8 Kilowatt-hours and two kilowatt maximum output, the Munich companyꞌs power storage system takes standard power-consumption profiles for private households as its orientation point. It is specially directed at consumers optimizing consumption of their own domestic production in an economically effective way.
Thanks to a server connection via WLAN/Ethernet, all power-storage systems are supplied, automatically and without maintenance workload, with updates that continuously further develop the battery management. The complete solution, available on the market from June 2018, includes power-storage unit, battery inverter, supply and installation, and also data-monitoring, via the VoltStorage app, including ten yearsꞌ guarantee on the complete power-storage system, said the company.
