The current debates about the high price of electricity, the deregulation of renewable energies and electricity imports from neighbouring countries show: There is great uncertainty as to whether the electricity market in its current form is up to the challenges posed by the energy transition. Is there a threat of migration, de-industrialisation and a return to fossil fuels, or will we manage to implement the necessary reforms in line with EU requirements in order to further promote the decentralised expansion of renewables?

The opening session of the Forum will provide answers to these questions: "(K)ein Strommarkt zum Gruseln: How we can prevent ghost electricity and use more renewables", representatives from politics, the energy associations and industry will discuss with each other. One of the most pressing issues facing the industry will be discussed in a panel with Parliamentary State Secretary Stefan Wenzel (BMWK), Kerstin Andreae (BDEW) as well as Simone Peter (BEE), Jürgen Reinert (SMA) and Philipp Schröder (1komma5Grad).
Focus on networking and knowledge transfer
The Forum Solar Plus will meet on 21 and 22 November 2023 at the Berlin Congress Center (BCC). In view of the increasing share of green electricity in the grids, it will discuss how new business models can ensure fair and sustainable remuneration and how strategic investments in renewable energies can succeed in the future. The focus will be on networking among the participants as well as on professional exchange. There will be a start-up session as well as interactive formats that offer numerous opportunities for making new contacts. (nhp/mfo)
