The Fenecon Home 10 is a modular storage system for single and multi-family homes with an output of ten kilowatts. The home storage system helps owners to achieve the highest possible degree of self-sufficient power supply.
Storage systems for commercial and utility use are the hotspot of the energy transition. They have to be universal geniuses, to be safe and they have to be installed very easily. The latest trends we now learn from Franz-Josef Feilmeier, founder and CEO of Fenecon.
Demand for storage units has increased significantly over the past year. Franz-Josef Feilmeier, Managing Director of Fenecon, knows how the market, the manufacturer landscape and the technology are developing.
CEO Talk: Over the course of their service life commercial storage systems have to master new challenges – electrification of fleets, electrical heat or dynamic electricity tariffs. What functions do they need? And what do installers need to know? We get the answers from Franz-Josef Feilmeier, CEO of Fenecon.
A half-cell module with general building authority approval, a large-scale storage unit from used EV batteries, a roof hook for quick installation on pitched roofs and a double glass module with up to 410 watts. These are our top products of the week:
The Industrial L by Fenecon uses surplus or second-life EV batteries. These can be easily integrated into the cooling circuit.
Energy prices are skyrocketing. Now is the time for solar self sufficiency. For commercial use there are some more opportunities by bigger storage systems for solar energy. They buffer the consumption and diminish the costs for grid connection, as Franz-Josef Feilmeier explains. He is founder and CEO of Fenecon.
This year's The smarter E Awards in the "Outstanding Projects" category go to: A storage power plant by Fluence in Lithuania, a solar irrigation system from Bangladesh and a smart grid storage system by Fenecon. In the "Smart Renewable Energy" category: Wattpilot from Fronius, Fluence IQ and DA/RE from Transnet BW.
Storage units help ensure that weather-dependent green electricity will provide enough power on its own in the future. Our guest article explains how municipal utilities can implement it.
Commercial storage: Many customers want as many functions and high performance as possible, but want to pay as little as possible. Franz-Josef Feilmeier, CEO of Fenecon, explains how this fits together.

Fenecon's new factory will produce industrial storage batteries from so-called zero and second-life vehicle batteries. Accordingly, Europe's largest production facility for storage units made from vehicle batteries will be created. The EU is supporting the project with 4.5 million euros.
Fenecon's new subsidiary is working on reducing the cost of investment. Similar to cars or construction machinery, it is now also possible to use electricity storage temporarily.
My and our vision as Fenecon is the 100 per cent energy transition. By this we mean a world that is supplied with 100 per cent renewable energies - for electricity, heating/cooling and mobility.
