At Agritechnica, suppliers of agrivoltaic systems presented solutions on how farmers can utilise their land multiple times. They also showed future scenarios of how modern agriculture can develop in the course of the solar energy transition.

15 gigawatts of green energy projects in the pipeline

The project pipeline is expected to further increase to 20 gigawatts by 2025. Most of these are solar plants. However, Q Energy also wants to expand its share of storage and enter the hydrogen market.

H-Tec to deliver electrolysers for hydrogen production in Austria

For its "Power-to-Hydrogen-to-Power" project, Innio has ordered two electrolyzers from H-Tec Systems that provide a total output of 2 megawatts and which are used to convert green electricity into green hydrogen.

Siemens has handed over the project on Terceira to the Portuguese energy provider EDA.

The Siemens Group has now handed over the project on Terceira in the Azores to the Portuguese energy provider EDA. Innovative software and a power buffer with 15 megawatts of output increase the share of green power while improving the flexibility and resilience of the power grid.

Generating hot water from surplus wind power

The Swiss MET Group has launched a power-to-heat project at its Dunamenti gas-fired power plant in Százhalombatta, Hungary, with an electrode boiler that can use surplus renewable electricity to generate hot water for heating purposes.

The project allows the transfer of surplus electricity to other sectors, such as heating or transport.

The innovative project Green H2-Hub Haren in the Emsland region in northern Germany uses H-Tec Systems electrolysers for sector integration.
