The innovative solar project Merganser is located off the Dutch coast, around twelve kilometres off The Hague. It currently has 500 kilowatts of solar power installed. The scalable concept consists of six interconnected platforms.
The “PV2Float” project by RWE, Fraunhofer ISE and BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg is testing three floating PV systems (30 kW each) over three years.
