In Japan, decentralised green power plants were combined to form virtual power plants. Using new technologies, the project partners have shown that a stable electricity grid can be realised even with volatile generators.

Belgium`s biggest battery park opens soon

EStor-Lux is set to establish Belgium’s largest battery park in Bastogne in a partnership with Centrica Business Solutions which will be responsible for the operating and enhancing the revenue received from the batteries.

Customers with a Sonnenbatterie 10 and a capacity starting from 11 kilowatt hours receive a share of the VPP's profit – guaranteed for ten years.

With the new Sonnenbatterie 10 and the power contract SonnenFlat, the company for the first time directly shares the earnings of its virtual power plant with its customers.
