With a constant efficiency of over 95.5 per cent, almost all of the electricity generated by the Sicharge D reaches the vehicle being charged, Siemens promises. The DC charger offers scalable charging power up to 300 kilowatts, either right from the start or by retrofitting with plug-and-play power modules. The charging station already supports voltages between 150 and 1,000 volts and charging currents up to 1,000 amps at all DC charging ports.

The standard configuration has two DC and one AC output in a compact housing that minimises installation effort. In addition to these features, the new charging station also enables dynamic parallel charging: This takes into account the power requirements of each connected vehicle and automatically adapts the charging process to the battery technology and the vehicle's state of charge.
