The award honours Sungrow’s advanced technologies and leading position in facilitating economic decarbonization and energy transition. The Award ceremony took place in Spain, where Sungrow offers sales, technical support and other services to the Iberian Peninsula.
Performance highlights
Sungrow ranked No.1 with 47 GW PV inverters deployed in 2021, estimated by IHS Markit, now a part of S&P Global. As of June 2022, the Company’s cumulative new record of installing 269 GW.
In addition, the top PV inverters, including the “1+X” Modular Inverter, the SG350HX, and the latest commercial and residential portfolio, are widely installed in power plants globally. Its energy storage system (ESS) solutions are supplied to projects including a 100MW/100MWh UK project, a total of 750 MWh projects in Israel and now starting with a smaller ESS solution in Spain and two planned projects in Germany.
Sungrow is extending its scope
Apart from the PV and energy storage business, Sungrow is entering additional fields in renewable energies, including EV charging solutions, floating PV solutions, hydrogen production systems etc., all driving the global energy transition and decarbonization. (mfo)
