Eurener has not taken this step alone. It is part of the industrial plan of its new partners, the Spanish electricity company Iberdrola and the module manufacturer Exiom.
Investment of more than 20 million Euros
The factory represents an investment of more than 20 million euros and an annual production capacity of one million photovoltaic modules with a total output of 500 MW. The factory will employ 115 people. The machinery is already on site and the industrial project is in the final stages of commissioning.
Eurener's decision to participate in this project comes at a time of low prices and general uncertainty in the European photovoltaic industry, underlining the solidity and strength of the project. The agreement between Exiom, Iberdrola, and Eurener represents a firm, long-term commitment to the production of European modules, with the aim of offering a product of excellence, service, and solid guarantees.

According to Pasquale Zazo, Eurener's Commercial Director, "We are delighted to be taking this step at such an important time in the photovoltaic energy market. This expansion will allow us to meet the growing demand for high-quality solar panels while continuing to fulfill our commitment to the environment, improving the supply chain and working conditions".
