We have a great vision with our vertically mounted bifacial photovoltaic system. The jury of the German Solar Prize 2020 also recognised this when they awarded us recently.
It's about revolutionising ground-mounted systems and bringing them into harmony with agriculture, nature conservation and citizens' interests. We stand for nothing less.
Question about feasibility has been answered
Initially a visionary idea, the energy transition is now showing very concrete signs, and the question of feasibility has been answered. Today, we are no longer working on the mere number of kilowatt hours, but on system-serving and cost-efficient building blocks of a fully sustainable energy supply. In this context, we develop projects that are not only profitable today and for the investor, but also tomorrow and for the general public.
See here a video on the Donaueschingen solar plant:
Our system has many advantages over normal free-field systems: only about one per cent overbuilding, 90 per cent of the area can continue to be farmed, ten per cent automatically serves nature conservation. Other advantages are electricity generation peaks in the morning and afternoon, higher yields per kilowatt and the relief of the electricity grids. (mfo)
