Better Energy’s Lidköping Solar Park is located in the Västra Götaland region and is expected to generate 24 GWh of renewable energy annually. As Sweden's second-largest solar park, it produces enough green energy to cover the household electricity consumption of approximately 4,800 Swedish homes. This follows the grid connection of Better Energy’s Studsvik Solar Park in October 2024, which has an expected annual production capacity of 25 GWh.

Across the two solar parks, Better Energy has delivered close to 50 MW of solar capacity in Sweden in 2024. Better Energy develops, constructs and operates solar parks across Northern Europe, with both projects in Sweden established in collaboration with local communities and with consideration for nature.
Multifunctional land use and collaboration with the municipality
With multifunctional land use being a key focus in Sweden, Better Energy utilised surplus land at Hovby Airport for the Lidköping Solar Park. This project is the result of a strategic collaboration with Lidköping Municipality, which owns the land.
