Adding 23 MW to the portfolio is another step in R.Power's development in Europe. By the end of 2025, the company plans to have a portfolio of photovoltaic projects in Romania with a capacity of 100 MW. This is yet another project that brings R.Power closer to the strategic goal of 1GW in operation that the company aims to reach next year.

The new projects, located in central and eastern Romania, are in the ready-to-build phase. Completion of construction is planned for the second quarter of 2025. The farms will be directly connected to the medium-voltage grid.
Goal of over 8 GW installed PV in Romania by 2030
Romania is one of the most dynamically developing countries in Southeastern Europe for solar projects. By the end of 2023, the total installed capacity from solar sources in this country reached 2.9 GW. However, solar development plans aim to increase solar generating capacity to over 8 GW by 2030.
