Nomad Electric commissions first PV plant in Portugal with a new EPC contract

Nomad Electric has completed the construction and commissioning of its first photovoltaic power plant in Portugal with a capacity of 8,4 megawatts. This site is a part of a larger contract that includes 45 megawatts in total. Nomad Electric has also signed a new engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for a 24-megawatt PV farm.

Nomad Electric constructed the 8,4 megawatts solar plant on a tracker structure. This installation will generate over 16 gigawatt hours of clean energy annually. The company also provided its proprietary system Scada Nomad NX, which features advanced analytics, to ensure a high level of energy production, real-time remote monitoring and efficient plant management. In the coming months, Nomad Electric will complete construction at other sites in Portugal, as part of a contract for a total of 45 megawatts.

Nomad Electric has also signed another EPC contract in Portugal for the construction of a 24-megawatt power plant. The company will be responsible for all aspects of the project, including the necessary procedures, agreements and arrangements with the relevant authorities and electricity system operator to enable the plant to be connected to the distribution network. Nomad Electric will also deliver and implement the system Scada Nomad NX. (mfo)
