Romania: Longi and Solarpro cooperate on 174 MW solar park

The plant will be built in the district of Oltenia, southwest of Bucharest. The developer CWP Europe is the owner of the project, while Grup Blauer is the developer and Solarpro is the constructor. The region where the power plant will be built has one of the highest average irradiation values in the country and has one of the highest potentials for photovoltaic power generation.

The project developers are aligned with Romania's Integrated National Energy and Climate Plan and aim to contribute to the country's renewable energy targets. The power plant is expected to reduce regional greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 95,000 tons per year by feeding clean energy into the grid.

The Hi-MO 7 module is designed for utility-scale

Longi will supply its Hi-MO 7 module for the project. The PV module was specially developed for use in large-scale PV power plants. It is based on HPDC (High Performance and Hybrid Passivated Dual-Junction Cell) technology and is characterized by an efficiency of up to 22.6%, a high bifaciality of around 80% and reliable performance even in extreme weather conditions such as intense heat.
