Electromobility is changing the requirements for a hotel's equipment. The possibility to charge the electric vehicle at the hotel becomes important for potential guests. "We assume that only five per cent of all accommodation facilities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland have e-charging stations," says Hakan Ardic, responsible for hotels at Wirelane.

Initially, Motel One hotels in Germany will be equipped with Wirelane's Light&Charge charging points. Hotels in other countries will follow later. At the charging stations, the charging process is paid for either via Tap Payment contactless with NFC-enabled cards or via smartphone wallets such as Google Pay or Apple Pay or with cards from the common roaming providers.
