Available is the gadget in five power classes be-tween 4.2 and ten kilowatts. This applies regardless of the roof orientation – whether east-west, south-facing or all together, as the PV hybrid inverter has up to 3 MPP trackers, one of which can also be enabled as a battery connection. The customer also has the widest choice of battery storage systems, as the device is enabled for different high-voltage storage systems, which can be retrofitted at any time, simply by ordering the activation code via the online store. Customers therefore only pay for the battery function when they really need it.
However, the Plenticore plus from Kostal is also smart, as it can be used in an AC combination, such as with a combined heat and power (CHP) unit, or with a solar-wind hybrid system. Householders also benefit from these combination options as it means that they can increase their self-consumption.
