The S-Series features safety technology that detects a temperature rise at the connector level and interrupts the flow of current before a potential arc can occur. This means that potential arcing can be detected and prevented instead of only being detected at the string level. This process maximises system safety as well as uptime and reduces operating and maintenance costs.
