New flat roof system for quick installation

Rather, it can be used in a variety of ways. ‘Unlike the PMT EVO 2.1, we can omit a module in the east-west variant and end up with an open ridge,’ explains Marlon Wagner, Innovation Manager at PMT. ‘However, a wind deflector still has to be mounted on the open side to make the system stable again.’

The new system was necessary due to changing module sizes. This is because corner clamping is no longer possible with these. Therefore, the new system was designed for quarter-point clamping. However, this also means that two base rails are required per module, unlike with corner clamping, where two modules could be mounted next to each other on one support.

To make installation faster, PMT relies on click technology and variable clamping points. This allows tradespeople to cover different module sizes with one system. At the same time, they can mount the modules from one side and no longer have to walk to the other side. The swivelling module mounting system makes installation particularly easy – insert the module vertically, turn it over and you're done. (mfo)
